Foundation President: Matt HarrisonMatt Harrison has been involved with BSF as a volunteer for several years and now serves as President. He has been active in community service projects for years and is excited to be part of such a worthy organization.
Matt is an Aggie, earning a bachelor degree from Texas A&M in 1990. It was there that he met his wife Deborah. They have two boys, Michael and Luke, who are both attending Texas A&M. Matt and his family have been active members of Chase Oaks Church since 2002 – focusing a great deal of their service in the KidZone area. |

Bret Coe is a founding member of Building Smiles Foundation and currently serves as Vice President. He has over 25 years of leading and/or serving various non-profit organizations. Bret received his Bachelors degree from Kansas Satae University in 1993. He enjoys spending his free time with his loving wife and son. |
Founding Member: Sergio G. Vega[email protected]
Sergio G. Vega is a Building Smiles Founding Board Member. His passion was fueled by his experience as a parent of a child battling cancer. He is the father to Sergio Enzo Vega, Wilms Tumor cancer survivor. Sergio Enzo's journey is the inspiration for the Building Smiles Foundation. On August 10, 2012 Sergio Enzo officially went into remission and Sergio focused his attention on helping children with cancer. A graduate of the University of the Incarnate Word, and a Six Sigma Green Belt, Sergio's faith, passion and business acumen have helped with fundraising, marketing and expanding Building Smiles. He served 4 years in the U.S. Army as an Accounting Specialist. He spent 15 months in Saudi Arabia where he earned several awards. |

David Guerra is one of five founding members of Building Smiles Foundation, established in 2011. He currently serves the board as Finance Chairman and Volunteer Coordinator. In addition, David also volunteers with other charities in his free time. David received his Bachelors degree from Texas A&M University in 1994. He and his wife have twin girls. |
Daniel FlemingDaniel originally connected with Building Smiles when he worked in the sales department for the Frisco RoughRiders, helping to start what is now our annual event at Dr Pepper Ballpark. The foundation’s focus on the simple mission to build smiles through our events is what made joining the board a no-brainer.
Daniel received his Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Design from Texas A&M in 2011 and his Master’s in Sports Administration from Ohio University in 2014. Free time is a rare occurence with two young children, but he still finds ways to fit in some time for running (a passion of his through & through). |
Web Administration: Andrew PadgettAndrew Padgett is our site's Web Administrator, and has served as a board member since 2020.
Andrew is originally from the San Francisco area, where he met his wife Amy, with whom he started a family of five. In 1997, their third child passed away after a drowning accident - their time spent at Children's Hospital in Oakland, CA was a turning point in their lives, an experience that drives his passion for helping other families in medical crises. Andrew is a business manager for AT&T, serves as lead media tech for his church and spends way too much time in his Apple-heavy home office creating various media. |
